Sport climber Aleksandra ‘Ola’ Taistra attempts a route outside her comfort zone and shares the lessons she learns in this beautiful video.

Ola’s a passionate climber looking to try bigger, badder routes. But that doesn’t mean she’s without fear. “I like all kind of moves…. I don’t like big falls,” Ola says.

Created by her friends Michał Leśniewski and Zofia Reych with addition footage from Robert Kielak in partnership with the Outdoor Women’s Alliance (outdoorwomensalliance.com), this short is a gorgeous portrait of a passionate female climber working to up her own skills, try new routes, and conquer her fears.

Quirky thought: “It’s good to feel that something bad can happen and try to control it. It means being a clever climber.”
