From Unicorn Picnic Productions (unicornpicnic@gmail.com):

unicorn picnic logoPretty Faces, the all-female ski film directed by Lynsey Dyer, is looking for an ambitious volunteer to undertake the following projects. This is currently an unpaid position, but serves as a unique opportunity to gain experience working in the action sports industry, as well as directly contribute to this exciting new project.

The individual must be extremely organized, self-motivated, and be willing to work as a team player. Everything we do reflects on our brand and our image, and this follows through on every email we write or hand we shake. This means that we are looking for someone who knows how to write (concept, spelling, and grammar), look someone is the eye, and be accountable. Graphic design, multi-media, and social media skills are a plus, but not required.

  • Create official invitations for resorts to work with Pretty Faces films.
  • Create contract for resorts for shared footage.
  • Serve as the Pretty Faces (PF) representative with all partnering resorts and their team.
  • Write/Distribute press releases with official participants.
  • Follow up on all press/media with additional information; ensure that most current news release is always circulating.
  • Remain objective with all parties in mind; work with resort to ensure that consistent and adequate attention is being focused on the project and resorts are well-represented.
  • Help collect/organize footage entries for PF.
  • Connect directly with videographers to educate them on the project, motivate their participation with all current news and “big picture” sentiment.
  • Create creative media interactions in social media, traditional print, and online presence.
  • Oversee Hometown Resort contest, website, voting criteria.
  • Help to solicit sponsors for Hometown Resort contest.

The time commitment might range from 5-25 hours per week. In addition to these responsibilities, you will work directly with the nonprofit SheJumps to aid in the distribution and scheduling of the film tour. Please send a resume and letter of interest to unicornpicnic@gmail.com.
